You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of multidisciplinary designers who collaborate closely to create a beautiful and cohesive experience for patients throughout their journey.
Reporting to the Director of Design, this is a unique hybrid role that sits in the intersection between product design and brand design.
In this role, you’ll lead design of our marketing website that serves over 7 million visitors per year. You’ll design digital experiences that help Canadians understand what we do through clear and effective design and storytelling, and express the Felix brand through visual and interactive design. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and marketers to shape a marketing website that is not only effective but also beautiful.
You’ll also be a core member of the brand design team, contributing to a wide range of brand initiatives such as digital ads, photo and video shoots, OOH campaigns, packaging, and more.
Own the design of the marketing website, including core pages, ad landing pages, navigation, information architecture, and more
Collaborate with product managers and marketers to translate new opportunities and insights into clear, simple, and beautiful designs
Work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented successfully
Contribute to the Felix brand through advertising, packaging, asset production, and more
Apply and evolve the Felix brand, including colour, typography, motion, photography, and more, to deliver a beautiful and cohesive brand experience
Communicate design approach rationale clearly and effectively to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
5+ years of experience in website and brand design, ideally in consumer-facing environments
Deep understanding of website design, from layouts, UX patterns, to web capabilities
Holistic understanding of brand design across multiple disciplines, including art direction, packaging, and advertising
Exceptional taste and intuitive understanding of aesthetics across many facets of design like typography, colour, and motion
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
