The Role
As a Solutions Consultant at SensorUp, you will be a key player in driving our growth and impact in the market. You will be the business-minded solution expert guiding customers through the technical sales process, and demonstrating how our solutions meet their unique emissions management needs. Your activities will involve pre-sales consultations and discovery; technical solution validation and demonstrations; proposal development; and post-sales support to ensure successful implementation, product adoption, account expansion, and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical Advisory and Solutions Engineering:
- Become an expert on SensorUp's products, features, and integrations. Leverage your industry experience and market awareness to clearly articulate the value of SensorUp's capabilities to customers and partners, and provide technical differentiation against competitive solutions.
- Produce and maintain technical guides and sales collateral, such as solution diagrams, integration pathways, and implementation steps. These materials will detail innovative solution strategies that resolve specific customer pain points and objectives
- Create product and solution demonstrations that can be configured to address specific customer use cases and objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the organization delivers a consistent message to customers; product capabilities are developed to meet customer needs; and that commitments made during the sales process can be fulfilled after a deal closes
- Business Growth:
- Help the sales team close product and services deals by: discovering and assessing client requirements; technically qualifying the alignment of SensorUp capabilities to client requirements; delivering product and solution demonstrations that are tailored to specific customer use cases and objectives; and building and articulating economic scenarios, such as solution ROI calculations
- Support the maintenance and growth of existing client accounts through proactive and consultative post-sales technical support activities, such as: product onboarding, configuration, and training; troubleshooting technical challenges and anticipating client needs; documenting client feedback and technical findings to develop future solution proposals
- Contribute content and support for strategic proposals and formal procurement processes.
Your Experience
- Deep awareness of the oil and gas industry and energy value chain, ideally related to emissions management or a related field in upstream/midstream
- Experience with Emission Management process and solution technology
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements in various regions and jurisdictions (e.g EPA, BCER, AER, etc)
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and technical software products
- Proven track record in pre- and post-sales engineering support, and/or technical solutions delivery ideally in a B2B SaaS/services environment
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Salary ranges are determined by the role and level required for the position. Factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training and location determine individual pay. The position is also eligible for equity, bonus, and participation in our total rewards package in your area.
